Usually one to three working days.

Yes, to every EU country, free of charge and without customs fees. EU orders are shipped from the Netherlands and most arrive within one to three working days. We do not ship outside the UK and the EU. See delivery and shipping.

We accept card payments (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) and instant bank transfer with Pay by bank app.

We offer this only to companies, please send your order by mail to contact@emaxlaserpointers.co.uk.

We no longer sell the high-power professional models in the United Kingdom, so we cannot supply a laser for bird dispersal here. Our consumer range is not powerful enough for that purpose. See our guide to UK laser pointer law for why higher-powered lasers are restricted.

Our red laser pointers are the ones to use with animals, and we make a dedicated red laser pointer for pets. Please read our guide to laser pointers and cats before you start, and never point a laser at an animal’s face.

You have 14 days from receiving your order to tell us you are cancelling, and a further 14 days to send the goods back. Email us and we will send you the return information.

Questions by laser colour

Not sure which colour suits you? Here are the questions we hear most about each of our ranges.

Green laser pointers

Green light at 532 nm is the colour the human eye sees most easily, so at night the beam and the dot stay visible over long distances. How far exactly depends on the power of the pointer and on the conditions around you.

Presenting, teaching and astronomy. Green is the favourite for stargazing, because the beam itself is visible in the dark, so you can point straight at a star or planet.

Every pointer arrives with the batteries it needs. All pointers we sell run on standard AAA batteries, included in the box.

Red laser pointers

Red is the classic, affordable choice for indoor presenting and for pointing at a screen or whiteboard, where you do not need long outdoor range.

The eye is less sensitive to red than to green, so the red dot is clear indoors, but outdoors the beam is harder to see than a green one. For outdoor use at night, green is the better pick.

Purple laser pointers

Violet light at 405 nm sits at the edge of what the eye can see, so the dot looks dimmer than green or red. In return it makes many materials glow, which is fun at parties and handy for spotting marks that react to ultraviolet light.

It can make ultraviolet-reactive features glow, so it is a nice extra. For careful checking a dedicated ultraviolet lamp is still better.
