4. Right to cancel

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which give you extra protection when buying online.

You have the right to cancel the purchase of goods without giving a reason at any time within 14 days, beginning on the day after the day the goods come into your physical possession. Where an order is delivered in more than one consignment, the period runs from the day after you receive the last of the goods.

To cancel, simply tell us in writing using the contact details on this website before the 14 days are up. You do not have to give a reason.

While the goods are in your possession you must take reasonable care of them. You must send them back to our contact address without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of telling us that you are cancelling. Returns are free: we cover the cost of sending the goods back to us. We may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

We will refund you in full, including the standard delivery cost you originally paid and the cost of returning the goods, no later than 14 days after the day we receive the goods back, or the day you supply evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. We refund using the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise with you.

Some contracts are excepted from the right to cancel under regulation 28 of those Regulations. These include:

  • goods whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market that we cannot control;
  • goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
  • goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
  • sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, once unsealed;
  • sealed audio or video recordings or computer software, once unsealed;
  • newspapers, periodicals or magazines, other than subscription contracts.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in respect of goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

5. Notices

All notices you send us must be sent to the contact details on our About us and contact page. We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when making a purchase. (Notice will be deemed received and properly served 24 hours after an email is sent or three days after the date of posting of any letter.) In providing the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that the letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email that the email was sent to the specified email address of the addressees.

6. Conclusion

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by Dutch law. You and we both agree that the courts of Holland will have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
